Intro to Blockchain Masterclass
The Rotterdam Blockchain Community is hosting a 1-day masterclass to teach the fundamentals on Bitcoin, Cryptocurrencies, Blockchain and it's applications. We will take a deep dive into how Blockchain will disrupt business and societies as we know it.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
This workshop enables participants to:
> Understand why Blockchain technology matters, what it is and how it works
> Describe & understand the differences between the most prominent Blockchains
> Understand what Smart Contracts are, how they function and can be used
> Have an understanding of the use-cases, applicability, and benefits of Blockchain
across a selection of domains and industries, including yours
> Understand the role and application of cryptocurrencies and tokens
> Understand Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) as an alternative source of funding
> Gain strategic insights hidden among the complexities on the short-term and
long-term business value of Blockchain technology
> Have an overview of how different countries adopt and regulate Blockchain
technology, cryptocurrencies & tokens, and ICOs
> Identify relevant Blockchain trends, developments, and future avenues
> Have an overview of the necessary means and channels to stay up-to-date
LECTURER:
Badreddine Tazrouti is a specialist and trainer in the field of blockchain-based technologies, who was one of the first students in the Netherlands to write his thesis on this topic. He explains complex technical concepts in simple everyday words and has given dozens of (international) presentations, trainings, and workshops to companies and government institutions, helping them (better) understand and use Blockchain technology in their domain.
He is also the co-organizer of www.blockchaininnovationconference.com, the largest Blockchain conference of the Benelux, bringing together +400 participants and +100 organizations, consisting of startups, academia, regulators and corporates, to discuss the latest trends, developments, and insights in the field of Blockchain technology.
