Red Light Jazz Club Night

Two formidable funk bands and a fantastic DJ in one evening. The Red Light Jazz Club Night guarantees to be a hot night this year at Olof’s on the Zeedijk.

When the doors of the Olof Chapel open at 19:30 on Saturday, June 7, the Wicked Jazz Sounds from DJ Phil Horneman’s turntables will already be spinning to greet you.

At 20:15, the energetic American trumpeter and bandleader Philip Lassiter, who has worked with Prince, the New Power Generation, and many other greats, takes the stage, transforming the Olof Chapel into Philip Lassiter’s Soul Church.

After an incredible funk concert, the DJ sets the right mood to catch your breath, before the night fully ignites with the Samba Soulshow by Amsterdam Funk Orchestra featuring Lilian Vieira.
