The Archeonacht also has activities in English!

On Saturday, April 22, the National Museum of Antiquities in Leiden will open its doors for ArcheoNacht, which translates into the Archaeo Night. On this evening, wander through the oldest and largest archaeological museum in the Netherlands until the late hours and participate in the many workshops, speed lectures and other activities. For connoisseur and layman, for young and old.

Go to the speed lecture: The Mona Lisa of Prehistoric Times in which Marin Matković talks about how the Venus van Dolní Věstonice dynamically acts upon people and their actions despite being a static object. Or take part in the Trash or Treasure workshop, where you will learn to create a profile based on someone's trash. Between the museum objects you can find students and archaeologists in the recognizable yellow vests. You can ask them all about their chosen museum object. Also, be sure not to skip the newest exhibit! Kemet: Egypt in hip-hop, jazz, soul & funk.
