Shakespeare's story about the power-hungry king who ruthlessly eliminates political rivals and opponents seems more topical than ever.

This opera is staged, sung in Italian and has Dutch surtitles.

Tickets cost 38 euros including program booklet. Tickets at the door on the evening of the performance cost 40 euros, payable in cash.

The church opens to the public at 8:30 PM. Performance starts at 9 p.m. No access after the start. There is no break. Expected end time approximately 10:45 PM.

Parking
The Lammermarkt parking garage (Lammermarkt 20P, 2312CP Leiden) offers parking less than 700 meters away.

If you want to be dropped off at the door, we recommend that you park at Stadsparkeerterrein Haagweg (Haagweg 8, 2311 AA Leiden). Free buses run every few minutes from the car park to the Hooglandse Kerk. After the opera, call the shuttle service and you will be taken back to the Haagweg. You can reserve a parking space on the Haagweg on the parkingleidingen.com site.
