Ahoy Sailor!

This ticket gives you one spot on the Sailboat for a daysailtrip from Volendam with a served lunch.

The sailboat is a 36ft long Jeanneau Sun Odyssey which has a Salon, Kitchen, two Cabins and a Bathroom on board. Life vests are available for safety. (maximum size is large) When we are sailing on the Markermeer and you want to go on the deck, out of the cockpit, you will be required to wear a life vest.

Swimming skills are preferred and sailing experience is welcome. Due to the nature of this trip and for your own safety a basic level of fitness is required.

If you are new to sailing it is good to be aware that wind /weather conditions can change rapidly so we can experience some mild wind and easy sailing but also some stronger winds and waves and real sailing. Make sure to bring along several layers of clothing and preferably a wind and waterproof jacket and white sole shoes.

If the trip is cancelled because of weather conditions you will receive your full payment. In case you cancel your attendance for any reasons there is no refund.

If the weather conditions do not allow us to reach the planned destination on time we reserve the right to change it accordingly making sure you have a safe and enjoyable trip. Sailing duration will remain the same unless it is unsafe to proceed.

Please be aware that there are certain risks that are unique to waterborne sports. Of course, with good planning and well trained captain then 99% of the time you'll be enjoying one of the most exciting day trips you'll ever experience.

However, it's good to be prepared with a suitable (sailing) travel insurance policy in the event of accidents and injuries incurred on board. Participating in this trip is at your own risk.
